EXHIBITION TEXT:
This diptych was based on two artists: Tahlia Stanton and Roy Lichtenstein, a pop artist and an abstract expressionist artist. In my opinion I think my thoughts changed over the course of this process because I learned to value what isn't clear and to actually trust the process.I chose to judge something differently and it is okay to take things slow. Comparison is the thief of joy. That is a phrase I learned and one I will never forget when I am frustrated with my skills. I subtly incorporated the use of flowers to symbolize growth and expectancy.
